I've asked for prayers for others here before but this time it's for me.

I've got surgery scheduled for Oct 27th. I've never had any type of surgery before nor have I ever been " put under". That being stated, I have to admit that I have some anxiety about all of this.

I've got a few days to teach Mrs.Tyme how to use this computer so hopefully she'll be able to let everyone know the results.

I went to the hospital today for pre-admission and to have blood drawn and a chest X-ray. During the question and answer session with the nurse she asked if there was any possibility I'd been exposed to the Ebola virus. I replied, "No way. Heck, I don't even watch Tarzan movies anymore!". Thankfully she got a laugh from my answer.

Another story from my visit at the hospital today. I needed a chest X-ray I guess to verify that my lungs are in good enough shape for the operation. With my back towards the machine the gal took the X-ray and I heard a little chuckle from her. She commented that the outline of my beard was visible in the X-ray.That's when I asked her if my X-ray looked like Achmed The Dead Terrorist. Score another laugh from the words of Tyme.
