I'd bet that 2 of those 3 dedicated voters were working folks that didn't really have the extra time available to go vote but made a way to make it happen despite being too busy to do so. That's 2 of the same 5.3 out of 10 people that pays taxes which is not too bad.Out of 10 registered voters, only 3 could be inconvenienced enough to show up. Sad. Apathy doesn't lend well to the process of "self governance" and the results may have been different if people had actually showed up. Was it truly a referendum that the majority of the people were fed up with the left...or was it a case of apathetic and lazy Democrats who just didn't show up to vote? I dunno.
I wasn't a huge fan of any of the candidates for governor.
As always, you MISS the point....when I look at the same picture as you Geo, I still see something different, no matter what age a person is when needing a job, 16 or 60, 15.00 per hor will help them a lot more than 6.00 will, just because a 19 year old flips burgers for 15.00 per hour don't mean they need to do it for life, with 15 bucks an hour they will have more money to spend looking for a better job, I don't know which would be worse, not finding a job or finding one and working for almost nothing " 6.00 " per hour, either way your pockets and stomach are empty.
And you're DEAD wrong.......a 16 yr old kid, still living at home doesn't have the responsibilities, and should NEVER make 15 bucks an hour flipping burgers...
AND, at 15 bucks an hour, why would they go do anything else. 15 bucks an hour , according LIBTARDS is a "living" wage, and is what is necessary to "survive"......
No matter, those 15 buck an hour burger flipping jobs will be replace by automation.....There is zero chance McDonalds pays fools 15 bucks an hour to flip burgers......NO WAY.
Later,
Geo
