Went bass fishing yesterday at Taylorsville from about 10:30 AM to 5:30PM.
Water temperature was 62.5 to 64.5 F. Windy. Water "cloudy" with maybe 2-3ft visibility.
Caught a few in creeks first hour. Then slowed for several hours. Decided to leave creeks. No luck on points either. Moved to a windblown bank without stick ups but a lot wood laydowns and it was tough dealing with wind but well worth it. 90 mins of really good fishing. No monsters but a bunch of 13-16"ers.
Heck there was a guy at the ramp that caught 2 bass, a hybrid, and a nice crappie while I was taking boat out. Almost abandoned take out and started fishing again
Wind on Taylorsville is really weird. Changes directions all time. You can be in creek and its blowing you to the back and then suddenly its blowing you out of the creek and 5 mins later switches back. You can be catching fish on a bank the wind is blowng into and move to another bank that lays the same direction down the lake and its calm or blowing a different direction.
