Rough River Lake

Does anybody have any report on Rough? Water temp, I seen they have dropped over 6ft so far

Last weekend did pretty good on squarebills in the backs of creeks. Water tempwas around 62* in the areas we were.

I went Monday and fished for crappie. I caught fish everywhere I went. We had about 75 short fish and had 16 keepers. It rained all day down there. I'd say it will get better as far as keeper numbers go. It was constant action non the less. All fish were caught on jigs between 3 and 10 ft deep. Good luck and stay safe.

Caught over thirty bass last saturday, several over three pounds. Fish were caught in three to ten foot range on square bill crankbaits and worms.
