Well, let me start off by apologizing for this non kentucky report on the ky board. Im on a business trip and a bit bored so i thought i would share a trip from a week ago. While i love fishing of almost any kind, by far my favorite type of fishing is stalking saltwater fish in skinny water with a fly rod. Specifically, when chasing the gray ghost (aka bonefish) My wife and i love tuks and caicos islands because of the great beach for her and unlimited self guided bonefishing and scuba for me. It took several trips but i typically have some success doing this down there. As an added bonus, i bought an inflatable kayak to take this trip to open up new water. Have to admit that i had minimal fish catching success but from an adventure and scenic perspective it was great. What few bones i caught were real nice ones. Spooked so many i lost count. Ill attach a few photos to share with you guys. I will be out there this fall and winter chasinging smallies but id have to say i would rather be wading a flat in the middle of nowhere than trying to fish with numb fingers.
