The people I had out didn't have any big fish, fishing for 3 days, but some of the other guides had a few over 20 during the outings .
I have yet to see more 20 plus than the 19 s, still early.......here's hoping
Most of our smallies were in the 17" range and actually a little slim, hopefully theyll be putting on their feed bags before winter. Im heading back down there saturday, hoping to get some live bait and increase our numbers when the sun gets high. Im pretty sure i saw you on the dock while i was loading my boat saturday

We were done by noon every day I don't think there are any trips planned this wk end,
Having a hard time to get bait to come in where I'm parked
Youre still in the same spot arent ya? I thought i saw your boat last weekend. Are you seeing any mud or stained water from all the rain?
I won't see any stain out on the main lake, sorry I missed your post, one of the dock neighbors hit good numbers today Sat.
13 SM. Sounded like he was off the lake b4 the hard winds began
I'll fish Sunday let u know what I do
Went yesterday and wound up with 24 fish. 20 sm, 3lm, and a ky. We only had 2 smallies smaller than 17" but none over 20". Very good overall size though. We caught a few on live bait but most came on a jig. By 11am we just had to fish where we could get out of the wind a little. Most all fish came on gravel do nothing banks. The fish seem strong this year, ive never had my butt whipped by more 18" smallies on a jig. We did hear the eeriest bunch of coyotes in the state dock that ive ever heard just before daylight. There were a bunch of them and it sounded like they were right on top of the hill killing something
