It is not you or the lake being drawn down as much as it is the bass are still transitioning from fall to winter patterns . Give it till the end of the month and they will back .Anyone noticed a negative effect on the bite at cedar creek since they began lowering it? The day's I've been its been mediocre at best. I didn't know if it was just my personally, or if anyone else had similar results of late. I seem to falling in the bad to worse range.
Are the ramps still useable?
Fish are still biting there, they are just a little bit scattered. The ramps are useable but I would advise caution as the lower part of the ramp, that would typically be under water, is very muddy and extremely slick...think Ice. I was there yesterday water temps were between 49-50 on the main lake. caught only 5 fish but two were over 6lbs and had to work hard for them. I think the water fluctuations has them a little confused. lake appeared to be down about 4'

Yeah those two were caught the same day out of the exact same spot and one was 10.2 and the other was 9.8...they are on the wall next to my 12.2lb Lm from the same area...
Thank y'all very much for the info on the ramps

Made it back out to cedar creek this past Tuesday, water was extremely dirty. Somehow seemed worse than this spring, I'm guessing due to the mud exposed from the lake being down. Threw everything I had at them and never drew a bite. Water temp was 53-54.
