I think Calipari is really going have to do some coaching this year. Watched most of last nights game and quite frankly that score was not indicative of how that game went. At the 7 minute and change left EKU was still very much in that game in Rupp....wow. Not hatin at all and not wishing ill on the team but I must admit it is refreshing to see Calipari get an average team for a change. Are they good, of course they are, will they get better, you know it, do they have 5 to 7 losses coming this year at least, yep. Murray and Briscoe are gonna be major scorers, that Labisseiere will be there next year. In fact most of this team returns next year the way I see it right now.

The game at Rupp with the Cards will be very competitive but UK will win because they play out of their minds every year against Louisville it is what it is. As for the Cards I am impressed with this team up to this point but we'll see going forward as they still have no center and never will again. I mean they have 14 guys that are close to or 7 foot and every one of them s uck!

I'm not overly optimistic about Kentucky this year either, but I've got to be honest that I'm glad the "40-0" crap was never in the conversation. I don't buy into the "good losses" thing much, but I didn't mind the UCLA loss.

They are young (as always) and quite honestly, I think they play like wussies with a "p" a lot of times. I've never been a Poythress fan, though he had a pretty good game last night.

I don't put too much into the EKU game, because Kentucky seems to have an uncanny knack for being sky high for the big games (They looked like the Harlem Globetrotters against Duke) but flat as a pancake against the home court cupcakes.

I think the team goes this year as Ulis takes them - They are completely different without him on the court. I really like the Murray kid too. They will take some losses this year in conference.

We'll see if their balls drop by March.

Next year, with a few back, plus the all-world recruiting class coming in...look out.

I watched uofl take on michigan state. Imo i thought uofl should have won. Very impressed with the guard play. Whether you like him or not pitinio is a good basketball coach. I think they will be a dangerous team come march. Once those transfer guys really figure out how to play the way pitino wants that team will take off.

As far as the cats go.... Well they are a definite work in progress. I have them losing 8 games this year. Skal is talented but is far to weak to compete in the college game. When uk plays teams with legit big men they will have no problem beating us in the paint. He needs to come back another year but we have already reloaded with 5 players coming in next season. 3 more post players. Im not sure how thr scholarship situation will work out next season. I do love briscoe. Kids tough as nails and murray has the potential to be unstoppable. I think this is uofls year to win the game. Pack the paint and make us shoot jumpers like ucla did. We do have the new zealand boy wynyard coming after xmas. Maybe he can add some depth in the paint

I actually haven't watched them yet - Was going to watch the Michigan State game, but ended up having to do some tire business instead...
