Cave run tailwaters

Im going to be out in the area this weekend. If weather permits id like to sneak away and fish for a bit. Seems like thats the closest bank area to access. I hear there is musky down there but maybe not this time of year. Anyone on here fish down there? Any info is appreciated.

Been a long time, but fished it long ago. The only thing I can say is - there are spots you think it looks okay to wade, but resist the temptation. Crazy deep holes/logjams, etc.

Friend of mine used to catch a boatload of carp with niblet corn down there if you're not picky...

Wheres the nearest boat ramp to the tailwaters,never been there and fish below Cumberland often

The closet ramp is right at the spillway there is another place on down from there on the right before you get to the hatchery. Unless the water is up or your running a jet drive I wouldn't recommend going very far. From the spillway to the first bend is alright at the bend it is about 1 foot deep and slate bottom.
