The first tackle shop I visited when I came to Kentucky almost 40 years ago. Always a pleasure to go in there as I did for many years before I moved to Kentucky Lake. Always sad to hear about the passing of a legend.

Such sad news. I have been a frenquite visitor since I was a kid and had began visiting with my son. Will truly miss Mr. Woodside and his stories.
Where'd you fish when you were around these parts, Dave?
Not much I did not fish when I lived in that area: Elkhorn, Guiest Creek, waded the Salt before they built the dam then fished Taylorsville, Kentucky and Ohio Rivers, Beaver, Herrington, Cumberland, Dale, Green,,,,as you can see the list goes on.
If you're ever up this way and get an itch to relive your Elkhorn wading days give me a shout.
sorry to hear that
