What do you guys use. I typically use a 15 foot leader tied to a 3 way, which is what I am using this year. BUT, based on what I have seen on sonar recently, wishing I could manage and toss a 20 - 25 foot leader, i.e., scrap the 3 way, and just secure the bobber to the depth I want. Anyone tried this? Landing a fish with a 15 footer is tough, anymore than that I would suspect one would need to bring it in near the boat and then go to hand hauling the line???? Any experience or thoughts?
