Ohio State beating KY was a surprise to me. Then duke lost

    Lots of upsets going on.
I've not seen KY play much this year. Purdue was undefeated until they played Butler. I had to turn the game off near the end only to turn it back on when Purdue pulled within 2 or three points and could have sent it into overtime but missed their shot and didn't get the rebound or defend their own basket. Butler just outplayed the Boiler Makers.

I root for Louisville when they play KY. I have a cousin who's kid played for Louisville. Yet my cousin's older brother went to KY. So that family has a slit personality. My cousin's son only played on the team as a freshman and didn't get to play much at all. He's a white boy and although very tall and talented he was not as athletic as the other players. He transferred to a small school in Florida to study aviation and is not a commercial pilot like his father.

In addition he will launch his pre-week campaign to the referee's about how the game will be called and he sure hopes they don't let Louisville beat up ''his guys''...............blah blah blah...he does it every year

Its at Rupp I say Kentucky does their usual ''its Louisville'' and now we play like the Golden St Warrior's deal and win by double digits.

    Kentucky 77
    Louisville 66

If somehow they lose two in a row and the second game is to the Cards, Mattie Jones might slit his wrists.

UK doesnt have one single player on the roster to be "scared of" so to speak. Last year if KAT got you on his backside you were about to be "schooled" by a freshman....it was GOING to happen...deal with it.
Over the past few years there were several "men" (that didnt look like freshmen) that were scary good and proved it. Thats missing this year as there arent any true monsters down low. Too easily pushed out on both offense and defense.
Now dont get me wrong I am blue through and through up or down, but I wouldnt bet an Amish drivers license on UK this weekend.
And I cant wait to hear from NBA farm coach Calipari about how "its all on me as a coach" ......NO SHIP!! of course its all on you, when players keep making mistakes its obvious they ARENT being effectively taught...duh??
Cats will shoot 34 freethows and hit 23 of them giving them the win by 2

Ive had the uofl game as a marked loss since the season started. Ohio state was a surprise loss. I was out of town this weekend and got to turn the game on for a second. Down 16 midway through the second half. I just shook my head and laughed. Ill take the cards 61-55. Only reason its close is because the rivalry factor.

I bought a bottle of woodford to ease the sorrows. On the bright side ill get to eat some good food. Im cooking about 100 pieces of bluegill, hush pups and a few sides. Ill be to full to worry about card fans cheering in my house

I've not been that excited about my Wildcats all year...just being honest.

They looked outstanding against Duke, but the UCLA and Ohio State games were pure abysmal.

We lack a big strong presence in the middle. Anthony Davis, She Nay Nay Stein, Karl Townes...aint walking through that door. Skal looks like a newborn giraffe. We looked and played smaller than Ohio State. When we become a team that settles for mid-range jumpers and lives on the perimeter, that has not been the blueprint for a strong Cal team at UK so far.

Jamal Murray can't hang 30 every game. We would have lost to the Suckeyes by 47 without his out of body performance.

I just don't see it this year - Not yet at least. Maybe they will come around by March, but I don't know. It would not surprise me one bit to lose to Louisville.

I'll give a slight edge to UK, being on the home court, coming off the loss to Ohio State (When's the last time UK lost two in a row?), and Louisville being without Mathieng.

    UL 75

Man that did hurt he is the second leading rebounder on the team and gives points in the paint. Louisville better rebound like their shorts are on fire.

Hell if yall bring an extra bottle of bourbon idc who comes. Could be an good ol fishin.com party.

I wasnt aware uofl was without mathieng. Good shot blocker and rebounder. I still remain confident in my pick.

My cats just havent showed that killer instinct this season. And the reference to skal looking like a newborn giraffe is about as accurate as a description anyone could have thought of lol. His draft stock has plummeted. Expect him to return to uk next season

Don't worry. I think UK is sponsored by Eco-Pro Tungsten Weights, because we rebound like our shorts pockets are full of them.
