I originally bought it to seal my rivets I sanded the bottom of the boat replaced several rivets coated each rivet with 5400 marine epoxy then coated no more leaks. My buddy does work on boats jet ski turns them into high performance machines he told me you want a dimple effect I did pickup a little speed but a 40 hp motor can only do so much about fuel saving I never paid attention.
