I don't like Obama at all and IMO he has been a horrible president, but I have to say my insurance has only gone up a fraction of what it did under GW. Under GW it went from only a few hundred a month to well over a thousand and I had to dramatically downgrade my plan just in order to stay at that. It was literally going to double one year if I didn't downgrade my plan substantially.

I pay for my own individual insurance and maybe that is why. All I know is it has been a genuine relief since GW left. I am paying well over $1400 a month now for insurance for my family and if it hadn't slowed down since GW left office I'm not sure how I would have managed to keep up the pace the increase was on.

It doesn't make me believe Obama is a good president but I am convinced that when everyone in the country knew healthcare cost were a problem the republicans did nothing themselves when they had the power to and that is a shame. We have Obama care because of their lack of action when the country was crying out for something to be done. So we end up with whatever ends up being offered as a solution regardless if it is a good choice or not.

I have been a long time republican but right now I have little confidence in either party. It seems like both are for the birds and just care about power and staying in office.
