a lot of damage
Yes really sad, I guess the positive side is no one was hurt or worse. Hopefully some of the local businesses can prosper from this mess. Jeff wishing you and your family all the best man, hang in there.Chuck
thanks for the best wishes chuck. my upside is there will be an enormous pile of firewood, i will donate it to somebody locally who needs it.
on another note i have witnessed the complete emotional devastation of some of the folks who have watched what they worked and saved for all those years just slowly go down the drain.
ive heard demolition crews will begin work at some of the marinas in the next few days...i am curious to see how many boats they are able to save during this process. it looks dangerous as hell to me.
Its terrible what has happen down there. My heart goes out to all involved. Just curious about all the fuel going into the water. Has anybody seen any fuel slicks and wonder if this is going to have a significant impact on the water quality
