I went down with 3 buddies early last year when they had nothing going on but the current was still strong enough to keep us moving at a steady rate so if its has any generators running I would use caution. One of my buddies paddled against the current but remained close to the bank, and tried to get close to the dam and he manged to hook a few big trout, he did get caught by a current that actually pulled him towards the dam, I wouldn't recommend getting that close lol.

Be pretty hard to turn that ascend sit on top over. Haven't flipped it in the first couple hundred miles I've put on it in Elkhorn but I still use neoprene waders for added security if it did happen. Very stable yak. 😊

    Option with possibilites

You could be dropped off at Burkesville ramp driver takes vehicle to another destination to do what ever.
You have at least 1/2 dozen ramps a kayak can be taken out over the next 12 miles,
Traces at the next bridge 3 miles down or so, public ramp about another 8 miles.

Most of that section of the river we have cell service just future options.
I liken a by yourself kayak trip on the river this time a year about like scuba diving by yourself. Not many options when things go south an no buddy to help
