Looking for new tires on the 18' bass boat trailer (single axle Oklahoma). 215/75R14
I have searched the forum. It seems Carlisle are good? Any info on the Mastertrack? The price makes me think they are junk.

I just bought a set of the Maxxis M8008s because of a recent flat. Don't have any miles on them yet, however. On a single axle trailer though, I would step up to a load range D tire, i.e. Maxxis UE168. Lots of people just run LT tires on their trailers though, like Kumho 857s. Just stay away from Chinese junk and you should be ok.
I've had great luck with Loadstars. Ditto on the Chinese junk, all they are good for is destroying your trailer fenders.
Do a search for trailer tires in the search box near the top middle of the page. There have been a few discussions.
Go to your local Goodyear dealer and tell him you want the tires that Goodyear just released for sale to the public last year. U-haul contracted with Goodyear to make a really beefy tire that would stand up to the abuse that their customers dish out. They were made exclusively for U-haul. As a matter of fact, the ones I put under my TR-21 with a single axle last year say right on the sidewall - property of uhaul, not for public sale or something to that effect. I would go outside and get the name of them for you but I'm in the hospital right now. I'm hoping to get out tomorrow - I'll try to remember to get you the name.
