Anyone been to the DIX river lately.

I'm taking the Canoe tomorrow........I hope the Ky and the Dix are not running too hard, because a Canoe might be brutal.

Man, the Kentucky was a mud hole........as expected, but the Dix was also a mud hole. I didn't expect that. We had to shovel 2 ft of mud off the boat ramp before we could even launch the canoe. I should have seen that as a good reason to go back home.

It was still good getting in the canoe and paddling. We probably paddled 7-8 miles yesterday.

The fishing sucked, and we could not get above the rapids on the DIX due to high water.

Maybe next time.
