If you don't mind what kind of small jig? My little boy is 20 and he loves the brown fish!

Basically a 1/16th to 1/8th float n fly jig without the float. Slow fishing but is how ive done it for 15 years in the winter.

How deep were those fish?

Caught a few quite shallow < 8 ft. Most came in 12-15 or so.
