I went there back in March one friday. I parked at the Rankin Bottom VPA. Nice place to fish but more driving from Louisville than I thought. I managed one 12 inch white bass. Locals said water was a little low and fishing had been better. One guy mentioned there are a few deeper pools if you walk upstream a bit.

I did better at Taylorsville WMA a few days before that...I caught about about a dozen white bass and hybrids in about 20 minutes! I thought the size was a little better this year. I caught a few that went 12 inches. Love the white bass run!
