Thinking of heading down this weekend. Can anyone in the area give me an idea of how the water looks? I checked the corps site for level and temp just want to be sure its not a mudhole!!! Thanks in advance.

Main lake has really really cleared up. Water is 55-57 and the bass are eating. You can throw a rock and land on 18-20lbs right now

He's not kidding. We brought in 18 lbs this Saturday and didn't get a sniff. 4 bags over 20 lbs came into weigh. That was just a 20 boat tournament. Took over 23 lbs to win.

If you don't mind sharing, what kind of pattern were you on? I was down Friday and had no luck at all-still trying to figure this 'fishin' out!

Im just covering water fast until i gind them. Saturday i had 21-22lbs and was off the water by 11:30. Yesterday afternoon i had 15-17lbs in about 2 1/2 hours. Didnt catch a single fish yesterday in the same spots i caught em saturday. No big secret, crankbait and spinnerbait is the way to go

Thanks for the info guys. I ended up going Saturday and had a good day other than fighting the wind. Best five went around 16-17 pounds all caught on the main lake on spinnerbait.
