I've trolled Roadrunners, pushed jigs, & trolled cranks a few times at Taylorsville. Caught fish on all three methods, but the most productive has been single rod trolling with a Roadrunner. Other than pushing jigs, most of my "trolling" has been with a single rod in hand. Pushing jigs I use three 14' rods with 1/2oz or more added weight above a 12-18" leader @ 0.4-0.8mph

Are you asking if "trolling" for Crappie works ?? If so, yes it does, under the right conditions & seasonal timing. But, if you're asking if it's the "best" method to catch Crappie at Taylorsville, then no ... not really. I catch more casting jigs, overall, than any other method.
