    Taylorsville Tomorrow Crappie

Putting in at Possum Ridge, fishing for Crappie. Any suggestions on where to find fish would be appreciated.

I went yesterday and found most fish had backed out to about 12' to 15' depth.
I caught a lot of nice size crappies that a still full of eggs.
I only use 1/16 oz jigs, chartreuse curly tails.
A crappie niblet seemed to really help.

JC ... were you catching Black Crappie out in that deep of water, or were they mostly White Crappie ?? I may have to sneak back over there one day next week, after my Green River Lake Spring Fling weekend.

And I'd have told Quailtail where to try, but didn't see the post until this morning & figured he'd already left out.

    ... pappy

Fished the bank to the left of the ramp. Used minnows. Bite was slow. Most fish caught in 20ft water at 15ft or so. 6 hours fishing 9-3 cleaned 9 nice fish. Lost 4 or 5, hooked but came off.

Went yesterday caught all mine off main lake coves in 5-10 foot of water. Used road runners and beetle spins.

Mine were white and black, evenly mixed.
Went again yesterday, the smallest I kept was 11"
    Had one almost 14"
I always catch bigger ones behind everyone fishing toward
    the bank in shallow water.
These came out of water over 35' deep
