if you want to catch a true striped bass i would think you would have to go to cumberland, but hybreds are in the ohio river and i would think the kentucky river. usually they are in the tailraces of the dams . this time of year ive caught them on alabama rigs down stream of dams where there are shoals from incoming streams nothing huge, 5 or 6 pounds , but they really hit hard.
