Lawyers know what the laws say because Lawyers help write the laws and they know the in's and out's of the law. The law used to try to prosecute Hillary is right there in black and whilte. And a life long Republican, Current FBI Director, could not in good conscious recommend to the Justice Department any criminal activities to prosecute. He read the law and used the law to make his totally unbiased decision. Every other GOP supporter that wants to hang Hillary for any minor infraction would be wise to emulate Mr Comey.

His reputation as a stand up straight shooter is known by all. And those that criticize his decision are winning about Sour Grapes.

Remember that the Laws vary. There are many compromises made at the Federal Level when Federal Laws are written by both Dem and GOP congressmen and Senators. That's probably why they don't make a lot of sense. Side A wants it one way and can't get their way or the law passed unless the compromise with side B. The compromise helps get the law passed though the congress. But not everyone on each side is happy. So life goes on. If you can find a better political system then I suggest you move to that country.

Then there are the 50 different States who also are writing State Laws using the same process of compromise most all the time. The same thing happens at the local level. Compromise makes for these strange laws that vary from one local to another. But it's the way things are done in this country. The founding fathers setup a series of checks and balances to prevent on person from getting too much power. So we continue to argue about the laws and fight for what we believe the law should be. But in the end the law is the law. And basically the FBI director said that Hillary didn't break the law. So there you have it. Time to just MOVE ON!
