If you want to have some fun the lake is overrun with carp you can have a ball catching them off corn bait or carp balls homemade. I watched a guy 2 years ago catching them so fast off corn he couldn't shake them off. They were small around a couple pounds but there are some hawgs in there.

I agree, the carp definitely bite better than anything else in there.

I went out there today and the lake is back up close to normal. The fish were busting topwater everywhere with the lake cooling off from the rain. I think I saw a trout come out a foot after busting something in front of me. I casted like a mad man with no luck on that school of fish. Hope someone else has better luck than I did today.
