I decided to stay away from politics for a period of time which meant I stayed off of this site and really curbed my facebook comments as well. I didn't deliberately watch any news but still stayed up on the topics since we can get news from so many sources. I am also an independent voter that leans Conservative and basically stepped away from all the crap to live my life without the disappointment of politics. I am happier I can promise you that!

After this self imposed hiatus I have decided that Politics really does bring out the worst in people. I see people stealing signs from lawns of fellow americans whose political opinions they don't agree with, red faced arguments over why this is better than that and name calling. Fights, riots and division like I have never witnessed in my life that are all deeply rooted in the political views of this country. It's a disgusting time we live in.

Personally, I don't like Hillary for all the lies she is accused of, her history, her pompous attitude and her being just another life long rich politician trying to occupy the office of POTUS. We keep defending these people like they are good honest folks when in fact they are the dirtiest scumbags that I would never associate with....ever!

To me Trump may not be a seasoned politician and isn't polished like a veteran of politics but he is different and I really think thats whats needed. Our country needs someone to shake it up and if it isn't trump it needs to be someone! Go back from Clinton to today, or further if needed, and see what was promised to the american people, stopping illegals, helping Blacks, helping american business, american jobs, middle class families, college tuition, foreign policy, terrorist's, guns control, fossil fuels and on and on....what has changed? Pretty much nothing and many of the "talking points" have become worse.

I think politicians are getting wealthy and the rest of us are left to pick up the scaps. Sure the scraps are pretty good for some but the millionaires in politics are many. Yet we fight tooth and nail to get another seasoned goon into office all the time...it's crazy and IMO stupid.

I won't get into arguments anymore about who lied or who is better because I can't change a persons mind on the issues they believe in. Quite honestly, I don't think anyone can win the argument anyway....if your lean toward Hillary you will not lean toward Trump because of an article or youtube video showing you why you should or vice versa.

Yes, I am happpier not giving a ratsass of who gets in the Whitehouse. I will vote Trump since I feel he is the best option between the two and since there really isn't a viable 3rd option...I'm stuck with him. I also think a woman potus is a mistake...it's not politically correct to say that but my life experiences with working around women tells me it is a mistake. Too emotional and vindictive as bosses.

If she gets in I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. It will be comical to see Bill using the Whitehouse as his old stomping ground. I imagine him having the time of his life in the background with all the money, power, drugs, cigars and booze and next to zero responsibility and stress like that of being potus. I see parties, scandals, reality tv, and great news stories of him caught with his pants down. On second thought I may vote Hillary just to assist in seeing that sideshow happen!!
