I've just been fishing licking river in cynthiana and was trying to figure out what kind of setup I should be using this time of year. It's not very deep but there's a lot of fish in it. The water has low visibility, maybe about a foot or two, and was just looking for some help.

Hey I have never been there but in small rivers and creeks I like the rebel craws, and teeny craws, and rooster tails or mepps, in 1/8 oz. white or yellow for me. on a light spinning reel and rod,

Small tube jig, olive or pumpkin

I like pumpkin colored worms with no weight. And a course rebel crawls. I also like a small topwater in the slower deeper pools.
