An oldie but a goodie. Watching the pregame show, who should appear but Pete Rose. IMNO he belongs in the baseball hall of fame. As a long suffering cub fan, I watched him several times beat the cubbies,and he always gave it all he had. He knew baseball,and I still think he never used his influence to bet against his team. At one time gambling was taboo, that was before state lotterys, indian casinos, off trsck betting. If Tiger woods in his hey day bet he would win a tourney, would that be gambling? Would you say Warren Buffet gamles on the stock market?
