Had a couple striper bites, but seemed like they hit it then spit it out. Shad should be easier to get as the weather cools. I plan on catching shad Friday night. This past Sunday I put a light out and I could hear alewives flipping on the surface almost immediately. Started towing net after about 30 minutes. Got plenty if nice alewives and no threadfins. Graph was solid yellow from surface to 40'.
