Took my 12 year old on a trip as a bday present with Capt. Jim Durham (striper fun guide service) last Sunday. It's been on my bucket list for some time to do that trip and he's definitely the man to call. Very professional, has the right gear, and can put you on the fish of a lifetime. If you follow his report, there is a picture of Jackson with his fish. The fish was almost 40" and roughly 35lbs. We had 3 chances at fish that day. The first Jackson got to the boat and lost (luckily it was a smaller fish). The second was the one in the pic. The third, we didn't get a hook in it when it took the trout. This is a great trip and I hope to take it again someday. If you have ever considered this before, I highly recommend Jim. We catch stripers relatively regular on the lake but this was unique and there are some studs that live in that water. here is the pic if you missed Jim's latest report.
