What Geo is saying is that it was Reagan who said it but he was talking to the Russian's about the wall in Berlin Germany that separated East and West Germany after WWII was over. But that was was to keep the East Germans from fleeing to the West. Trump was talking about building a wall across the southern boarder to keep the Mexicans from coming into the USA. Still a wall is a wall.

Now Trump is backing down on a lot of his campaign promises. I didn't vote for Trump as I had no idea what he was really going to do if he won. He still scares the crap out of me with some of his rhetoric about using nuclear weapons.

Read this story about the Cuban Missile Crisis and then imagine Trump being the President during the Cuban Missile Crisis. This is a real story about some Russian Sub Captain that almost started WWIII back in 1963. I was just a kid in grade school at the time and it scared all the kids and our parents. Nuclear war threats were very real back in those days. Now all we have is MAD to protect us and that's still very scary to me.

The last thing I want is a war monger in the white house. Hopefully trump is smarter than he looks.

I saw today where Trump announced that he is going to be more open minded when it comes to the CO2 reduction treaty that Obama signed. I'm thinking that the US Admirals have talked to him and given him national security briefings that have changed him mind on how global warming is causing a security problem for the USA with Russian and Chinese Nuclear Submarines getting closer to the US Boarders due to the ice melting much more in the summer months up North.

Geo, you are right, I was wrong { confused } about the exact wall, but the point I was trying to make still stands, it won't look good on America to ask another country to tear down a wall they have and turn around and build a border wall themselves..
