Last day I fished was the 24th. Schooler fish moved into the last third of the creek and were stacked up pretty good in decent schools. Channel depth of 45-55 ft. School depth varied but the fish came on 40 ft and 25 ft down rods. Fish still didn't want to bite hard while low but we'd get one for every school we went over. Active fish would come up higher. I had one yank a bucktail rig right out of my hand after they came up close to the boat.

If anyone catches one that's attached to a Johnny Morris bait caster and a bass pro 7ft green rod, it's mine.

Before that we were getting onesy with the better fish 25 ft deep on down rods and planer board rods. Found schools moving really fast but they wouldn't hit very well. I guess they had some place they needed to be other than on the end of our line. Over all a great trip aside from losing the rig. I do have the story...
