Thanks to everyone who offered input. After getting quotes from 5-6 dealers and reading many reviews online (several hours' worth), I decided that Michelins were simply out of my price range and went with Goodyear Wrangler A/T S tires. The roads here have been wet almost non-stop since I got them, so I've had a few days to test their wet traction to some degree and I believe I made the right choice. Unfortunately, tires are like wives in that you can only really know if you made the right choice a few years down the road.
