has any of you guys on here ever fish below pickwick dam, I never have and it is calling my name, anyone that has fished there and would like to share your experience, i'm listening...

hey man thanks for the reply, I love fishing below the dams, I've read where the guys that fish below Pickwick dam catch a lot of good size smallmouth, big striper and cats as well, I know what to expect, concerning the rough water, I've just never fished below Pickwick before, and was hoping some of you guys that have, would share what your trip there was like, and if the fishing was good enough that you would go back again, in your reply it sounds like you were talking about fishing below Wilson dam instead of Pickwick dam, the water that comes out of Wilson dam makes pickwick lake, and the water that I was talking about fishing, is the water that they let out of Pickwick lake dam and it flows on down to make Ky lake. I've asked my brother if he would like to make the trip with me, he is slow to make up his mind, but we just might give it a try, and thanks again for the info you shared..
