Cumberland trip

Planning a trip for Sunday the 29th. Anybody have any info or tips. We are planning on trying for some stripers. Is anything biting???

I'm not a striper guy, but I can tell you that when I was down there Saturday I saw boats planar boarding in the back half of every creek I was in, pretty close together actually. I wouldn't see any in the front half and then would see 3-5 of them in the back of the creek. Also saw I very large striper chasing in a cut in the back of Greasy, was pretty cool. Like I said, not a striper guy, but that might be some good information for you to get started.

Fished Cumberland today for bass. Put in at Jamestown, surface temp was 48.5 in morning at daybreak. Went to beaver creek, birds/shad about 2/3 thirds back. Just past, the water went from clear to slightly stained. Water temps in the back third around 50.5 -51.3. Caught some LM on A-rig and jig in the late morning. Had one LM on a crank but came off. Fished some with a jerk bait and shakey with no results. Hope this helps someone!
