February saw tooth stink fish

Anybody ever done any good on Muskie in February on the cave? Also, I know these fish are actually kind of fragile and catching them in hot summer months can kill them so is catching them in cold weather pose any danger to the fish. Obviously a responsible timely release is the goal. Would rather not catch them at all than accidentally kill a big one.

Anything? Just trying to see if you can catch Muskie in cold water and if so if it is harmful to the fish.

Never fished for them but its my understanding from previous posts that it is best to catch them in cold water. Summer time runs a greater risk of killing the fish. Again, not one who chases them just repeating info I have read here and other places in the past.
