Sounds like a great class from a very exceptional angler.
I'm so glad I read the posts. Now have a sense of humor here folks. The title left me wondering if I had something to learn about how to relieve myself after one too many beers. :-)

Ditto to fingem (and to too many beers!). I took Dave's class 5-6 years ago and learned more about bass in that one day than in my previous 30+ years of casting around the edges of farm ponds. I've used Dave's lessons on largemouths in Florida to smallmouths in southern Canada. Some rules work better for river systems, but most work everywhere. Geofisher & I will be back at 'em March 3 on KY Lake, eliminating water and setting hooks! I honestly think through my one class with Dave EVERY time I fish, especially if the bite slows down. Best investment I ever made for fishing. Thanks again, Dave!

Eddie: Thanks for the kind feedback. It is heart warming when I get feedback from folks that I have taught over the years that my teaching has improved their bass fishing. It lets me know that I have done my job as a guide. Hope you guys have good luck on your planned trip down here in March. You never know about the weather in March. The forecast here for this weekend looks fantastic for this time of year. Would be a great time to hit the water for a big one if the forecast holds.

Eddie and I are pretty good friends......I think he took the class about the same time that I did, but with a different group of friends.Eddie: Thanks for the kind feedback. We met up through a mutual friend and have been fishing ever since. I remember the first time we fished together and we were talking about Dave Stewart, the first thing he asked me is if I took the class![]()

His first trip down to KY Lake with me was one of those magical 80+ fish a day trips. We pounded them in a whole of of the favorite spots.
MAN......I'm really chomping at the bit now.
When you SEE this, on the finder:
You know you're going to have a GREAT DAY. We found a spot within a spot on a lake that I used to fish many years ago.
With GREAT weather, I asked Dave E, and EddieM to go to the lake and try it out. This lake is a smaller body of water, but I gotta tell ya, the methods WORK. We found an old channel bend, and they were stacked up where the creek turned.
We threw everything at them and finally got them to bite a swimbait.
On 10 casts, I caught 7 fish. We ended up with 70 for the day before trying to find another similar spot.
Funny thing, we looked, but never caught another fish....
Man, fishing is GREAT.
Later,
Geo
