Kayak for big guy

Hey looking to get a kayak that I could use for both fishing and duck hunting. I'm 6'5" and around 250. Looking to spend less than $650. I'm not going to be using it every day so I don't need a super high end thing and weight doesn't really matter because I would be using a truck to get it around. Stability is probably the most important thing. Let me know what you all think! Thanks in advance.

I'm a little bigger than your size and the Ascend FS12T is a sit-on-top I got from Bass Pro and I like it fine. Very stable. You lose some maneuverability, but I need stability. It's not light but it's pretty well-made.

I have an Ocean Kayak Big Game 2. I have zero fear of tipping mine while fishing. So stable that I can stand and fish with ease. It was actually meant for carrying a lot of gear and supplies. It's max capacity is rated 550-600 lbs. I got mine from ACK. Give the BG2 a look. Insanely stable fishing kayak.

Just realized you wanted under $650... I think the BG2 would be out of your price range.

I'd check out the Native Ultimate model. Get whatever length will accommodate the weights you want to haul. I like them because the are built almost like a pirogue/canoe/kayak love child. A little of all three types of watercraft rolled into one.

I weigh about 320 and I bought a Vibe Sea ghost 130. I am VERY pleased with it, Longhunter outfitters by green river has them and I think they are running a 10% off price right now.

The angler 144 is a big kayak and is very stable to fish/hunt out off and they have them at Dunham's there in Sumerset
