it's hard to get all air out initially. bleed lines again.

Guys I appreciate the feedback. My boat mechanic is saying it will be 5-6 weeks out to get it looked at right now.

Do some searches and maybe ask some questions on bassboatcentral. Watch some videos on youtube. I had a similar issue a few years ago and I was able to fix it myself by bleeding air out of the line. Not too difficult if you have a friend to help. I don't think I would wait 5-6 weeks unless you are not comfortable messing with it. Good luck whatever you decide!
Look at the ends of the steering cylinder and feel underneath for leaking fluid. If they leak you'll have to replace seals. If not probably has air. While you're back there make sure everything is tight, no play in the steering.
