This will tell you lake levels:

With regards to fishing info, the reports here, namely Dave Stewart's are usually spot on.
I was there last weekend. Fri, Sat, Sun.
Friday:
On Friday, we struggled in the wind on South Barkley, Devils Elbow area. We caught fish, but it was tough. We finally ended up on a single point with about 18 billion white and hybrid bass schooled up. We sat there for 4 hours, and caught 65 of them, putting 30 or so in the live well.
We caught largemouth mixed in with them, but not many, and not too many keepers. The whites and bass were hitting crankbaits, red eye shad, tail spinners, swimbaits, and jigging spoons......Man it was fun.
Saturday:
On saturday, we headed to KY lake, putting in at Sugar Bay. From Fenton to Sugar Bay, we caught 31 total largemouth and had options on quite a few more, and a couple smallies. Most fish were caught on Shakey Head, redye shad, Crankbaits, and swimbaits. The swimbait bite was strong but you MUST slow down, and you MUST let them load up on the bait, or you you will never catch them.
Sunday:
On Sunday we put in at North Barkley. We fished about 1/2 a day, leaving by 2 or so. We caught some gigantic drum, and a couple white bass. We also caught 5-6 or so largemouth, but not many. I must admit, on Sunday we were swinging for the fences, and fished a lot of water that was "fishy" and different then places I would normally fish.
Those places gave up 10 lb drum, but nothing else![]()
.
I hope you STICK some fish.
Tight Lines.
Later,
Geo
