Thinking about going to Cedar Creek monday, has anyone been recently and know what the water conditions are and if they're hitting on anything in particular. Might try to hit crappie as well so any help would be much appreciated.

about 37,000 people fished Cedar yesterday. The bite was decent until about noon when every tom and harry with a jonboat, trolling motor, yacht, pontoon, kayak and bass boat within 5 hours decided to run all over it. Wish it was February with 45 degree water again.

As much pressure as that place gets I'm surprised it still puts decent fish out.

I've never been but always wanted to go. I just hear horror stories about the pressure and makes me think twice.

The pressure is always there, whether its at night or the middle of winter. My advice is avoid the weekend if at all possible. Go on a Wednesday or Thursday, there will still be a lot of boats but far fewer than the weekend.
