Looking to take my son out this weekend and he was wanting to go to Cedar Creek. Have the recent rains got it muddied up? Anybody catching any bass, crappie or bluegill there? Thanks.

water 67 and clear this morning. fish are biting.
Put up the bass rods and fished for bluegill last Tuesday, Had to go thru about 120 fish to get 25 good keepers with a few shellcrackers in the mix. Find the Gravel and find the better fish.White popeyes with a wax worm 2to3'deep. Wednesday got out the crappie rods and had 20 nice fish(10 to 12'') on minnows 5' deep over 12' of water on the creek channel edges. Never had a crappie with eggs but the shellcracks did have eggs so with the full moon I would say there on the beds now. And the bass our biting also .
Went out Saturday afternoon and man was the lake busy! I bought an aluminum boat so I can bang it around in the trees and that was the only way we could find water that we didn't have to share. It was stained from all the rain on Friday. I managed to put two in the boat with a spinnerbait. One dink and one about 2.5. My wife ended up going with me and she lost the best fish of the day. She was fishing a swimbait and thought she was hung in a tree when a 4+ came shooting outta the water and spit her bait. That would have been a PB for her and she was tore up. Only had one other bite and we were on the water for about 4 hours.
wish I had a better report. Pics on instagram @bigraddad
