Does anybody own 2002 Yamaha VMax. My boat is currently in the shop to repair the cowl latch. They can't figure out how to repair it. The only time this type of latch was installed in this Yamaha motor was 2002. I have googled it, they called Yamaha to find a schematic with no luck. The next option is find somebody that is running this motor now. So if you are running this year and motor please contact me at 502-352-0856. I would like to take a picture or send me pictures of how the cables etc. are routed etc Boat mechanic is saying that a part is broken but can't figure it out.
