Yes, they are called "striped bass" or "stripers" here, since they are landlocked. There are also hybrids from Striped Bass and white bass that everyone calls "Hybrids". They are in the Ohio River and many lakes, most notably Lake Cumberland, and in the Cumberland river below the dam. Hybrids in many of the larger lakes...search for "stripers". "hybrids", and "strippers" and there is plenty of information!

Lake Cumberland would be your primary "rock fish" lake. (only lake stocked with Stripers)

Taylorsville Lake or Guist Creek Lake would be the closest lakes to Louisville area for Hybrids, but I believe Barren River Reservoir would have larger Hybrids.
