i've got a different view on global warming. it has to be caused from something outside our atmosphere. the few meteors that make it in, can't bring enough matter to change much here. all the carbon has been in our atmosphere since the beginning. it seems to me our atmosphere is a closed environment with a finite set of elements. if we release some of them by burning, the elements just change to some other combination of elements for a while. all of the oil and gas we're using was created by something made of carbon in some other form. so there is more carbon dioxide in the air. if you prius drivers would worry about stopping them from cutting down jungles and forests instead of my classic car, carbon dioxide levels would balance out. global warming is caused by the sun. nothing we can do is powerful enough to cause it.

Above or the very top comment has some good ideas. The trouble is that when CO2 or Carbon and Oxygen are buried under the ocean and the earth it's not trapping the solar energy. Normally solar energy enters our atmosphere and then radiates back out again. But the increased levels of CO2 Gas in the atmosphere is trapping the sun's energy and keeping it from radiating back out into space. Burning the forests and burning fossil fuels is releasing the Carbon that was tied up in the ground or trees and putting more of it into the atmosphere in the form of CO2 gas.

Your words fall on deaf ears as most people down in Florida can't read what you write. They have no power

This is one of the worst natural disasters in the USA. Billions of dollars will be needed to put Florida back together again.

As another Hurricane looms out in the Atlantic Ocean. We dodged a bullet in that the hurricane bounced into Cuba before it hit West Florida and Cuba took some of the energy out of Irma. But still it hit with the force of a CAT 3 Hurricane. It was Cat 4 before that and it was just 4 mph short of being a CAT5 Hurricane. We may not be so lucky the next time.

You speak of Gore making money. But that's a RED HERRING. The amount of money the Oil Companies are making since Irma threatened Florida is way more than anyone else made off Global Warming. The price of GAs was hiked as people in Florida were trying to get out of the state to a safe place.

I suggest you go look at the pictures of the devastation that's occurred in Florida and think about that for a while. Al didn't make any money of that mess.

Today I read a newspaper article about something that we use on a daily basis. It's about a new solar panel that's being added to a business in my area that will allow them to conduct business and not have to buy power from a generating company that burns coal (fossil fuel) that pollutes the Earth and causes global warming and more powerful and more hurricane's like Irma and the one that hit TEXAS.

Hahahaha if I go to the keys it's to fish, enjoy the beach, women and drinks. Global Warming can kiss my Lilly White buttocks. I also don't think anyone would care anyway because it's not like I'm calling their baby ugly.
Your buying into it but not everyone is and to assume so is crazy. Even the masses of people who may think your right are ignorant baboons who more than likely voted for obama based on his stellar experience 😜 We will have to agree to disagree on this topic.

Hahahaha actually they predicted many things and even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. Years ago when I lived in Florida we would get the same predictions year after year and it was always the same....they were wrong. Generalized predictions that allow alot of room for error.

So in the name of predictions....my prediction is we get some major snow this Winter. Just sayin.....
