Another Ohio river excursion

Going to the river again tomorrow (Monday) with Knute(The Heathen).

I practiced (re-learned) throwing the cast-net in the yard this afternoon. I had pretty much forgotten how to throw it but I'm getting a nice opening diameter now. Well, most of the time but not always. Those lead weights are getting heavier every time I throw it.

Anybody selling bait (shad or skip-jacks) on the Indiana side of the river anymore?

Well how did ya do Tyme? I found buffalo at Dutchmen's dam Fri. But water was real low

We caught no bait but didn't spend much tyme trying. I caught a little blue on my first cast and that was it for the day.

It was still a fun afternoon just being on the river. I did notice that we were the only boat and there were no bank fishermen at all. That has to say something about how the fishing has changed.
