Ok folks. I need some help with river levels. What is a good level for boat fishing the area? I have only been one time there and with someone else that knew the river well but has passed away.

Meldahl summer pool is around 14', yesterday it was 24' and little muddy. Water temps were 46 degrees. Fishing should be good when the river drops some more and clears up some.

Wags I live in Alexandria ky about 15 miles south of Cincinnati. About 30 minutes from Meldahl dam. I did hear of some guys beginning to catch some now below dam on Ky side. Haven't fished this fall yet hope to go over Christmas week.

I live in Taylor Mill. Going back up Monday. River should be good. Lot of fun and tasty eating them sauger.

Fished the Falls of the Ohio in Louisville Ky last week and caught a few small sauger. All came after dark. What time are you all catching fish up there?

Got bites on and off all day. Kept 17 sauger size ranged from 10 inches with many 14 plus to about 5 17 inches.
