Wolf Creek Dam

Anyone tried any Sauger fishing below Wolf Creek dam lately? Was considering a trip tomorrow. Any reports would be greatly appreciated. Thanks fellas!!

the river has been up and down up and down every few hours and i personally havent caught or seen any sauger, or walleye. mostly trout and skippies. talked to creel survey guys a couple of times recently and they said theyve seen the occasional small accidental walleye but no numbers or size yet.
the flow needs to be up and stay up for a few days and i think the walleye might pick up a little, and the sauger are toss up, ya never know if they will be here at all

Well I gave it a shot anyway this weekend. Fished Saturday from daylight til mid day. Running 2 generators most of that time then down to one. No sauger or walleye bites but did have fun catching rainbows. Let a couple good fish get off that we never saw so who knows what they were. They were the only two that pulled drag so I am guessing smaller stripers or a brown. Just wanted to give u fellas my report.
