just got back from Okeechobee lake, the lake was really muddy, could only see about 6 inches deep, the crappy fishing was really good, only bass fished one day for about 3 hours, bass fishing was to slow to spend much time on, with the big slab crappy feeding like they were, water temp early morning 68 degrees, windy every day, beautiful weather high 70's to mid 80's, killed a big cotton mouth right at the boat ramp. this was a bucket list trip for me and I loved it, some big water and some of the best crappy fishing I ever did, I will for sure hit it again before long. I placed a couple photos on the fishing site...all black crappy
